Dr. Ansar Munir Shah

Brief Bio

Dr. Ansar Munir Shah is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Southern Punjab, Multan with over 18 years of academic, research, and administrative experience. His expertise lies in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence–based threat detection, with a strong focus on IoT security and energy-efficient communication systems.

He has published extensively in internationally recognized journals and is an HEC-approved PhD supervisor, actively mentoring MS and doctoral researchers. His research contributions include lightweight security models, intelligent intrusion detection systems, and optimization techniques for wireless and sensor-based networks.

Dr. Shah plays a leading role in Outcome-Based Education (OBE) implementation and contributes to NCEAC accreditation processes, including CLO–PLO mapping, CQI cycles, and program quality assurance. He is actively engaged in curriculum development, academic leadership, and fostering industry-aligned computing education.
