Dr. Muhammad Azam

Brief Bio

Dr. Azam has made significant contributions to both academia and industry through his research, teaching, and applied Artificial Intelligence solutions. He is actively engaged in mentoring students and leading innovative, impact-driven research projects. In addition to his academic and research responsibilities, he has been serving as the Incharge of the Department of BS Artificial Intelligence (BSAI) since Fall 2025, and has also been the Head of Final Year Projects (FYPs) for the past four years, where he oversees project supervision, evaluation, and ensures alignment with industry-relevant innovation standards. Recently, he has also assumed the role of Manager of Innovation and Commercialization at ORIC, where he plays a key role in fostering an industry-oriented project culture, promoting innovation, and facilitating the commercialization of research and student projects.
