Brief Bio

Lecturer Ms. Sundas Fida Hussain is currently working in the University of Southern Punjab, Multan as a lecturer on the contract basis. Her research work is on the self-medication among university students as well as effects of teaching styles of teachers on the academic performance of University students. At the USP, she is committed to mentoring different department’s students about the course of Civics and Community Engagement and Introduction to Sociology.

Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy as a Sociology Lecturer is grounded in fostering critical thinking, inclusivity, and the application of sociological knowledge to real-world contexts. I view the classroom as an interactive space where students are encouraged to question assumptions, engage in dialogue, and develop a deeper understanding of social structures, inequalities, and cultural dynamics.
